Explanation: Ambassador Amna Baloch is the current Foreign Secretary of Pakistan, the 33rd person and only the second woman to hold this position in Pakistan's history, after Tehmina Janjua. She assumed office on September 11, 2024, succeeding Ambassador Syrus Sajjad Qazi. A member of the Foreign Service since 1991, she has served as Consul General in Chengdu (2014–2017), High Commissioner to Malaysia (2019–2023), and Ambassador to Belgium, Luxembourg, and the European Union (2023–2024). She holds a Master's in History from Quaid-e-Azam University and an MBA from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. Her tenure extends until September 2026.
